Factoring Co-ordinator (Part-time) The Job- Working with the Technical Manager and Materials Manager to approve products and suppliers.
- To create and maintain a spreadsheet of approved factored products with supplier details
- To maintain wherever possible a price list for factored products and liaise with the commercial office to allow speedy quotations
- To obtain quotations for factored goods to suit enquiries received by the company
- To liaise with suppliers and work with our DSF China team to ensure despatch proceeds smoothly with accurate documentation
- With the Sales & Marketing Director to be responsible for creating and maintaining a marketing plan to make sales of factored goods
The Person- Reliable, flexible and self motivated
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
- IT literate - ECDL qualification or similar
- Experience of working in a purchasing environment would be an advantage
- Occasional overseas travel / supplier visits

Kiln / Combustion Engineer The Job- Key member of the Engineering Team
- Monitor kiln performance and report on fuel usage
- Responsible for maximising kiln efficiency
- Carry out maintenance work as required, including planned maintenance on combustion systems
- On call to deal with kiln engineering issues out of hours
- Manage specific projects to improve kiln operations
The Person- Individuals must be enthusiastic and have confidence in their ability of problem solving and decision making
- Candidates must have experience in combustion systems and / or appropriate qualifications.
- The ability to work on your own initiative and self motivation is essential for this post
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Flexibility, including the ability to work out of normal working hours
