07 Dec 2010   Getting back to normal after snow chaos!

After a week of extreme weather DSF is getting back to normal. Heavy snowfall and extremely low temperatures have affected large parts of the UK, and the area around DSF has been particularly seriously affected.

All our people have had massive difficulties getting into work due to snow and ice blocking the roads, and deliveries into and out of the company have also been affected.

We would like to apologise to customers who may not have been able to reach their normal contact, or if e-mails have remained unanswered for longer than normal.

The weather remains extremely cold for the UK with temperatures of – 18°C (0°F) recorded close to the factory, but no snow has fallen since last weekend. Everyone is now back at work and the factory is running normally.

DSF would like to thank all our dedicated employees who have braved the conditions and kept the company going through the worst snow conditions since 1916.
