Our recent recruit as Sales Manager for China, Michael Shen, visited our UK site at Friden in Derbyshire for training in products and applications. He is a graduate in Ceramics from HeBei University of Technology and Engineering and has worked in the Ceramics and Refractory industries for many years.

During the visit Michael has viewed the facilities at our Friden site and met with our key UK based people. He has received intensive training from Technical Manager, Chris Windle and the rest of our Technical Team. Michael has also taken the opportunity to meet our Sales Office and Production Control Support Team allowing Michael a better understanding of DSF systems and procedures.

Michael's visit has also given DSF the opportunity to review the status of all the current Chinese projects with Gary Laird, who has responsibility for DSF sales in China.

Michael is based in Beijing and our DSF Refractory Materials (Tianjin) Co. factory in TEDA, covering sales to the Chinese Glass industry.
