14 Apr 2008   China Glass 2008 - A success

This year provided our most successful China Glass ever. Visitor numbers to our booth were much increased and despite increasing our staff to eight this year there was no free time for any of us.

There was a large amount of interest about our new Chinese manufacturing company DSF Refractory Materials (Tianjin) Company Ltd. This interest mainly came from domestic Chinese glass manufacturers and furnace designers and foreign engineering companies that know DSF and want to use our material in Chinese projects.

It is clear we need to get the factory up and running as quickly as possible to satisfy the need for our materials in China. We hope to start trial production within the next few weeks, and hope to be in full production by August / September.

There was also a lot of interest about our UK produced high purity mullite products for use in regenerator construction and also melting furnaces for fibre glass and speciality glasses.

A sincere thank you to everyone who visited us - an apology to anyone who came to the booth to find everyone busy and the message to everyone is SEE YOU IN SHANGHAI NEXT YEAR.
