15 Nov 2007 DSF Awarded 5 Stars
Following the achievement of being awarded 4 stars by the British Safety Council following their first audit in 2005, the management team at DSF were determined to further improve the health and safety system at their Peak District Factory.
We are pleased to announce that two years later following an audit in October 2007 the company has been awarded a maximum 5 stars in the scheme.
Managing Director Neale Parkin commented "This is a demonstration of the commitment of the management and all the employees at DSF Refractories & Minerals Ltd. to Health and Safety. Special thanks go to HR Manager Janette Flower and Works Engineer John Burton, but I would like to thank everyone for their efforts to win this prestigious award."
The work does not stop here though, continuous improvements are necessary to ensure we provide a safe working environment for all our employees and visitors to our site, and we will continue to strive to make further improvements and to make use of best practice. |
