DSF in China

DSF Refractories (Tianjin) Ltd is the Chinese factory of the DSF Group. This is a wholly owned foreign enterprise, a subsidiary of DSF in the UK; we have no local partner.

The company is being managed by experienced UK nationals who have extensive experience of working in the DSF UK operation in Derbyshire and are committed to the high quality and service levels of DSF. We have mixing and casting facilities for ethyl silicate casting and water based systems, shuttle kiln and extensive cutting and grinding facilities.

The factory is located in TEDA (Tianjin Economic Development Area) close to Xingang Port, about two hours drive from Beijing. We are now in full production with a product range of RMT CF40 melter bottom blocks, RMT CTB tin bath bottom blocks and RMT Chemcast special shapes for burner blocks forehearth superstructure and tin bath roofs.

All products are being made to the same high quality standards as in the UK, currently all products are cast and many are six faced dressed. Sales are a mix of supply to local Chinese glass manufacturers and export to new and established international customers.

DSF produce a wide range of alumino-silicate and special refractories and the company is world renowned in the production of high fired mullites.

The company specialise on manufacturing large and complex shapes, and the production of bricks to tight dimensional tolerances.
DSF is a major importer of refractory minerals. Our state of the art crushing, screening and bagging operation is used to produce high quality processed materials.

Products are used in refractories production, road surfacing applications and also used to produce ceramics and welding fluxes.
DSF Refractories (Tianjin) Ltd is located in TEDA, Tianjin it is a wholly owned subsidiary of the UK company.

The factory is in full production, supplying to the local Chinese market and for export.
